It is that time of year, Springtime! Springtime is the perfect season where we can get our homes or apartments organized, cleaned, and feeling brand spanking new! Talk about feeling this Plenty of Positivity vibe, this is the season for sure! I live in the south and I love this time of year. There is still a chill in the morning which allows you to keep your windows open and catch some fresh air before the hot summer rolls in. Springtime is the time of year to organize closets, rid the dust that sits in those corners all season, and maybe even pull out the pressure washer.

Recently, I pulled out the pressure washer. That was a workout to say the very least, but I must say there was something about it that made me feel refreshed and accomplished after I was done. Driveways, curbs, and homes can collect an abundance of pollen over them in the south, as well as accumulate mildew on the ground that builds up over the year. If I had known how refreshed I would feel after the pressure washing was over, I would have completed this task sooner! We can all agree there is something mentally positive about coming home to a clean home. You end up feeling accomplished and satisfied. Don’t we all want that feeling?
We recently hosted a gathering at our home. Leading up to the gathering, I deep cleaned the interior of the home. While it takes time and effort to achieve a successful deep cleaning, I must say you can make it enjoyable during the cleaning by listening to your favorite podcast or music! After the deep cleaning was complete, I could think more clearly. You cannot tell me there is anything quite like an office that is organized and decluttered. I feel you can possess a more positive mindset, thus leading to enhanced mental clarity to accomplish daily tasks efficiently.
Lastly, there is nothing that quite adds to the feeling you experience in your overall health by a deep cleaning. We have two dogs that have a lot of hair. You end up vacuuming every three days, maybe four if you are lucky. If not, you are breathing in all kinds of pet hair and dust that settles in the home over time. A springtime cleaning can provide a healthier environment to live in and improve your health. When you improve your health it will transcend into other aspects of your life, making you happier overall.
These three benefits that springtime cleaning offers can allow you to have a more refreshed and positive outlook on life.
